Fall Syllable Word Sort Directions

1.
Take out all the cards from the bag. Find the colored
cards that say 1 Syllable, 2 Syllables, and 3
Syllables. Lay these cards out in front of you.

Using the cards that are left, (the cards with the words
on them) sort these cards under their correct card. For
example the word the would go under the 1 syllable
card. The word happy would go under the 2 syllable card
and the word December would go under the 3 syllable
card.
3.
As you are sorting, say the word cards out loud and clap
your hands to help you find where the word goes.

4.
After you are done sorting each card, be sure to write
down your answers on the worksheet.
5.

When done, place the worksheet in the Done box.
