Executive Summary

What is NightOwl Magazine?


NightOwl magazine is written for people who like to work, create, and play during the nighttime. The magazine includes stories, interviews, how-tos, recipes, and late night tips. Each page has one thing in common: the night. NightOwls goal is to make the shift workers, students, artists, and other night owls feel accepted in a world that is 9 to 5.

Nocturnal Animals Take Flight


NightOwls launch will take place on April 4, 2014 at Red River Colleges Exchange District Campus in The Atrium. The purpose of the launch is to introduce NightOwl to our target publics, get people talking about NightOwl, encourage our target publics to buy NightOwl, and to have fun. To complete our goals, we have split up the launch into three parts, before the launch, during the launch, and after the launch. During the launch we will have: - A photo booth - A espresso maker - A member dressed as an owl - A selection of moon-shaped cookies - A stack of sample magazines - A Live Tweet screen We will advertise the launch through social media, posters, radio ads, guerrilla marketing, and coffee invitations.

Conclusions
After the launch, we want to be at the forefront of our target publics minds, and we want to have sold 15 magazines during the launch. We would like NightOwl to become the most-read magazine in Winnipeg, by 2015.

Recommendations
We recommend that after NightOwl launches, the client continue to have a strong social-media presence. This will allow you to keep your night owl readers loyal and to bring new readers in. We also recommend that you keep in touch with our team on a monthly basis. We are always willing to help.
