Thewaysinwhichtheauthortriestoexpresshisfeelingsisbyquestioningthelittlelambabouthis beautifulwool,andthefoodwithwhichithasbeenfed.Blakealsoreferstodifferentaspectsof ChristianismbyintroducingthetendervoiceofanangelGavetheesuchatendervoice,andthe rebirthofthesoulGavetheelife,andbidtheefeed/Bythestreamando'erthemeadwhichisdirectly connectedtobaptism,andadirectconnectionbetweenthelamboranypersonwithGodhimself. ThemainpurposetousethechorusLittleLamb,whomadethee?istomarkthepointthatwe,as humans,andcreatureslivingonEarthhavebeencreatedbysomeonepowerful,andthatwejustdidnot comeoutofnowhere.

Inmyopinion,Ifindthispoemreallyexpressivebecauseittouchesthemainpointsofreligion. Somanytimes,IforgetthatIhaveapurposeinlifethatwasgiventomybytheCreator.Peoplein manycasesdonotbelieveinGodoranytypeofreligion,butitalldependsoneachoneofus,andour feelings.Iamconvincedthatafterreadingthispoem,manyrealizedthatwedonotonlyleaveGod aside,butwedonotappreciatewhatpassesoroccursbeforeoureyespeoplehavebeengivenone moredayoflife,food,andshelter.Inthiscase,Blakeusesthemetaphorofalambtopresenthumans inaveryinnocent,butcleverway,hescomparinguswithafaithfulservantofGod,givingthefactof beingcalledChristiansafterJesusChrist.
