ABSTRACT This project is about modifying a trunnion table for use with a specific type of rotary table and

machining centre. In addition, this project analyses the suitability and possible usage cases of different vises with the trunnion table. The project starts w ith a goal statement, then continues with an overview and classification of common metalworking fixtures. Then an overview of the original situation is given. After that the design of the trunnion table is discussed. This includes a comparison of possible design solutions, selection of necessary parts and calculations for determining the dimensions of details and their strength. Finally, a comparison of different vises is made and possible usage cases are explained
