HS Life, Chemistry, and Physics Educators Nanjemoy Creek Environmental Education Center Using Environmental Inquiry as the Context for Learning All sessions focus on teaching science content through an environmental context. Participants will participate in engaging, hands on, inquiry learning at NCEEC that will model this. Chemistry sessions will focus on water quality monitoring using probeware and chemical means. (Next Gen addressed MS LS2-4, HS LS2-2) Physics sessions will focus on utilizing solar energy through the construction of solar ovens. (Next Gen addressed MS PS3-3, MS PS3-4, HS PS3-3) Biology/Life Sessions will focus on stream health through macroinvertebrate analysis.
