What Is Texturing?

Texturing is a process where flat continuous yarn is modified to give bulk and/or additional stretch to the filament yarn.

The yarn is nipped securely and twisted by Muratas Exclusive Twiste Belts. Slippage is almost zero. In this diagram, the force applied to the yarn, V, is divided into VT and VF . VT is twist force. V 1s yarn feed force. Va? ues of V p d VF are decided according to V and angle 8. That is, in the nip system, the twist level, .twist tension (Tl) and can be set untwist (T2) by adjusting V and 8.
