Coffee Trail Itinerary 2014

Coffee Trails, offers a unique experience situated in the middle of Indias Coffee country of Coorg. The Heritage bungalows offer a true "Plantation Experience" for guests, one is assured of the best travel hosts and guides when on a vacation. These spacious but cosy bungalows, offer personalized cook and butler service and are truly a right blend of an heritage building and comforts to make your stay enjoyable, thereby making them a perfect gateway from the harsh city life. As part of the experience, guests enjoy guided bird watching tours, nature walks, and a guided jeep drive through plantations. Guests also receive firsthand information on how coffee is processed from bean to cup. Other activities include a private 9-hole golf course, badminton, table-tennis, trekking, boating, and white water rafting during season only.

Leave Bangalore to Coorg by Road (Distance 250 Km), Destination: Plantation Trails by Tata Coffee Ltd. Breakfast On the way and visit to Belur-Halebid Visit the world Heritage site of Belur Halebid and break for lunch at Hoysala Resort (Lunch en-route)
Arrive and check-in at the bungalow, Plantation Trails by Tata Coffee, Pollibetta, Coorg A guided Plantation Jeep Drive through Coffee Plantations. Estate staff will explain about Coffee, Spices and the local Flora and Fauna of the region. Dinner over Bonfire

Day Two: Monday, 27th January 2014


Time Activity Bird Watching and Nature Tour in our Coffee Plantations -Wake up to a Stimulating cup of Coffee and go Bird watching with your Cameras and Binoculars. Coorg has as many as 300 different Avian Species. Or, Drive through Nagarhole National Park Breakfast Visit to Coffee Estate and Interaction with the Estate Manager Experience Coffee Picking Lunch Visit to Coffee Estate and Interaction with the Estate Manager Visit to the Pulping Unit Dinner over Bonfire

The above prices include accommodation in Bungalow & taxes, breakfast, lunch, dinner, guided plantation drive in jeep, complete transportation, Entry Fees at places of interest as per schedule and Guide. Pick up and drop will be at the Coffee Board in Bangalore Snacks, Mineral water, Soft drinks, Soda are served at an extra cost payable at the Bungalow Pets strictly not allowed inside the bungalows Booking requests along with full payment to reach IICF Secretariat latest by 21 January 2014.
