Year: 3 Theme: World of Self, Family and Friends Topic: Unit 4 People Around Me Focus Skill: Listening Activity: Missing Word Objective: 1.1.3) Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes, tongue twisters and sing songs paying attention to pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.

1) The teacher give some pieces of paper to each students. In that paper, it can be in various form like lyrics, poems, dialog or story. The paragraph have some missing word that must be filled by the students. * To train students to read and sing a song with correct pronunciation and make them feel curious to guess what the missing word.

2) The teacher play the audio with high volume, so that the students can listen clearly. * The students will concentrate on how the narrator pronounce the words. * When playing the audio, they will follow the sentence one by one. They directly learn and focus about inonation and stress patterns.

3) While listening the audio, they must fill the missing places by writing the correct words. * To train students to be more sensitive to sounds around them. * To make them familiar with the difficult words

4) The teacher discuss with the students what are the correct words by playing again the audio. * The students can check whether the written word is same or not with what is heard.

It allows the students to understand what others say and require students to listen out for how it is used and pronounced in the context of narrative or conversation.

Other justification
Practice emphatic listening. (etc :tone of voice, volume, stress)

To help students learn new words and improve aour vocabulary.
