As a well-rounded student and educator, I have had the chance to work at more than one childcare center. I am experienced in working with diverse groups of children and co-workers. I have also had the chance to work with children with different types of family problems, and even disabilities. I am also experienced in working with children challenged by autism, learning disabilities, noncompliant behavior, and children who are developmentally delayed. I have developed different teaching styles to teach children with these unique challenges. I encourage children to learn by providing them with different learning centers inside the classroom such as creative art activities, manipulatives, and hands-on activities. I use these ideas to provide a learning environment that stimulates all areas of students academic growth. I feel like the more engaging the atmosphere is for children; the more they will want to learn.
