member of the Kean University Police Department. Hes a one-year-old German Shepard named Gunner. KUPD was selected as one of just three departments in the entire state of New Jersey to receive the K-9 grant. Upon completion of Gunners training, he will be used in many events here on campus as well as in neighboring communities. He is on pace to graduate from K-9 Academy in June.
