Components Contact your EMC account team for any microcode NDU (non-disruptive upgrade) requirements or pre-requisites. Host All clusters as currently supported in E-Lab Navigator. This release does not change any supported Symmetrix cluster environment requirements. Clustering Switches a. ALL EMC-recommended FC SAN switches are supported, including Brocade, Cisco, and QLogic. Ports connected to the VMAX must be running at 2 Gb/s or later. HBAs Notes
b. All EMC-recommended Host Bus Adapters from Brocade, Emulex, and QLogic as supported by the Server vendor. Ports connected to the VMAX must be running at 2 Gb/s or later. c. Supported as a thick device only. d. FC-SW connectivity only if using 1 Gbs HBAs. e. FC-SW connectivity only if using 1 Gbs HBAs. Emulex 1Gb HBA requires lpfc driver v6.02hx2. QLogic 1 Gb HBA requires QLA driver v4.15.03. Solaris 8 support covered by E-Lab Navigator Extended Solutions statement. f. 8 Gbs support begins with RHEL 4.7, RHEL 5.2, OEL 4.0 U7, OEL 5.2, SLES 10 SP2, AX 2.0 SP3, and AX 3.0 SP2. g. Supports 1GB HBAs but only with FC_SW connectivity. h. MPIO with RHEL supported at RHEL 4.0 U3 and later. i. MPIO with AX supported at AX 2.0 SP1 and later. j.
