 1962 - Stefan Sagmeister was born in Bregenz, Austria. 1978 He was educated at a local engineering school and wrote for a news culture magazine. 1981 Sagmeister enrolled into a private art school in Vienna. He was also freelancing as a graphic designer./ 1987 He earned a scholarship at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. 1991 Lands an agency job in a Hong Kong Design Studio. 1993 Returned to New York and launched his own design company. From 1995 was stefans big step for creating CD covers for renowned artists.
