To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter in reference to Kacy Cameron. Kacy has been student teaching in our building with Brittany Desnoyer (ASD3). Kacy's job responsibilities 16) have autism and some have very volatile behaviors. are extensive. All of her students (ages 12Kacy has effectively managed her students'

behavior at the same time addressing their academic needs. She has done an outstanding job as a student teacher. In addition, Kacy has volunteered in our building since she was 14 years old. She has worked in many of

our classrooms. She spent a large amount of her time in classrooms with students that are severely multiply impaired. Kacy is one of those special people that are able to work with a wide variety of students. She is able to

look at their medical and behavioral challenges to determine what they need. All of the teachers that have worked with Kacy have loved having her in their classrooms. She is compassionate, understanding and respectful. In addition, she is organized and values academics.

Kacy is graduating this spring with a special education degree from Eastern Michigan University with an endorsement in Cognitive Impairment. She will make an outstanding teacher. Our school would be

lucky to have Kacy on staff.

Educationally Yours,

Sharon Tomsovic Putman Principal of Torrant/Kit Young Centers
