Donzell Williams Mrs.

Jones English IV, per: B5 April 4, 2014 Senior Reflection Paper The good times end, as the great times begin. Donzell Williams. During my years at Warren Easton, I have learned many lessons and experienced lots of challenges along the way. Due to the difficulty of these challenges, I started to doubt myself, which made me want to give up even more. However, I realized that giving up shouldnt even be an option for me. Eventually I learned to use doubt as motivation to overcome these struggles. Furthermore, I would first like to shed light on the most difficult challenge of all, which was becoming to outgoing and social to others. During 9th grade, I was known as the anti-social person or the person that was too afraid to communicate with others. Although I was concerned about peoples opinion of me, I never really felt the need to address this problem. However, Ive realized that not being social being social started to reflect in all of my classes. In class, this behavior eventually

brought my grades down significantly, due to no communication in group projects, and failure to get information about activities from people in my group. Due to this happening, I realized that it was time for me to make some type of change. So I decided to speak up for myself and let people know more about me, which really gave me the respect I deserved.
