Rationale

Why Calypso? As a team, we wanted to establish a business that would become a trend in our society. We analyzed the current trends in San Pedro and noticed that coffee shops, such as Brugge and Peace and Love are very popular, especially among teens. Our objective was to create a business from the idea of a coffee shop but with a revolutionized concept. How is Calypso different? For instance, Calypso is has a theme: Greek Mythology. The place is beautifully decorated and portrays the theme in a fun and attractive way. Our paninis, desserts and drinks are named after characters/places that appear in Greek mythology. For fruit frappes we have: Pylos, Medusa, Argos, Cyclops, among others. For paninis we have: Penelope, Zeus, Apollo, Olympus and more.
