    Sunday, April 6 2014, 1-3pm Restrooms at the Lower Glen Artney Parking Lot, Avalon Area

    Join park staff for a guided hike through the Soapstone Trail as we learn to identify native tree species of the Patapsco Valley Dichotomous keys will be provided for tree identification All participants should be ready for a 2 mile hike through easy terrain, which should last around 2 hours. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather. Bring a water bottle and snacks for the hike. Water will be provided.
