MOTION DETECTION USING COMPUTER VISION SYSTEM TOOLBOX IN MATLAB Abstract: MATLAB is a powerful tool with vast amount

of libraries to perform mathematical,signal and visual processing.It also contains toolboxes to anal se and manipulate image data. In our pro!ect ,the matlab program streams images from an image ac"uisition device to detect motion in the live video. It uses the optical flow estimation techni"ue to estimate the motion vectors in each frame of the live video se"uence. #nce the motion vectors are determined, we draw it over the moving ob!ects in the video se"uence.
