Computational aspects: some instructions [1] Use right click of mouse to create a directory in the Desktop named YourRollNo_Date.

Then type mkdir YourRollNo_Date and enter. &n this case3 another cd command 'ill get you to the directory you have created2 cd YourRollNo_Date and enter. [-] 4fter 102 or (3 that is once you have created your directory on the Desktop and entered the same3 type octave and enter. 5heck 'hat version of octave you have got. &f it is (.).#3 please 6uit octave y typing quit and enter. On the terminal3 type octave again and press T47 key. 1ou 'ill get a listing of other octave versions availa le. 5hoose octave versions (.2.# or higher. To get to these higher versions of octave3 type octave-3.2.x and enter. [*] 8or creating scripts3 use gedit. The script files should e saved in Desktop/YourRollNo_Date directory for you to invoke them using octave.
