Adding FRQs to Multiple Choice Exams The easiest way to do this would be to add an extra question to your multiple

choice exam. For example:

Go to Create to make your exam

When creating your assignment, just add one more question to your number of questions. Example 60 multiple choice and 1 frq (61 questions)

Scroll down to number 61 and check it.

Go to Type and click More.

Click on Rubric and change the values to your preference for that particular FRQ. You can even change the Multiplier to make the FRQ worth more.

When students take the exam, ask them not to fill in number 61. Instead, fill in the number that they received on the FRQ before scanning them into Gradecam.
