Warm-up: review question from yesterday Real-world problem solving of systems of linear equations o Students will be given many real-life problems that they can choose to solve using any of the methods that they have learned throughout the unit (see additional materials tab) Practice choosing the best and more efficient method to solve systems o Two equations in slope-intercept form- substitution or graphing o Two equations in standard form- elimination o One equation in slope-intercept form and one equation in standard formsubstitution Business model equations o Many of the problems that the students will have to choose from will involve some type of business plan model o This will lead into the unit project and give the students some ideas about what they will have to create themselves.
