The peer workshop was wonderful. My partners helped point out a lot of things in my paper that could be elaborated on or added to in order to improve my paper as a whole. By them asking questions such as, Are there more artifacts?, Are there more ways of communicating?, and Do Bellas parents play a significant role?, helped me to see where I needed to explain more in my observations and where I needed to had more information. Also what really helped me as I went through revising my paper was remembering what Daniel had said to me in our group. He told me that the paper was really good but to remember that he has never seen this so he cant visualize like Im visualizing, I have to explain it in a way where he can see and understand what is going on. So as I went through revising I tried to add enough detail so that people who have never observed my figured world can still visualize what it happening. None of the feedback that I received from my group was unhelpful. Everything that they told me I kept in mind as I went back through my paper. I really enjoy my peer workshop group.
