Field Instructor: Final Conference Adapts Curriculum Adapts the curriculum: Corey consistently adapts his instruction per

hour to make the lesson as best as possible as the day progresses. He does this with ease and shows a mentality beyond a first year teacher. There is no anxiety about making in the moment! changes. He does not become attached to the prior work he put into the lesson or the notion that he thought it would work prior to teaching it. He is able to make the necessary changes because he puts the students" learning first. He is also able to adapt to the needs of his students as the week goes on and with long# term planning. $ses the community in teaching: Corey has been connecting the local community with the impact of %%II. Corey also uses his student community &ery well in his teaching. He will listen to the students to learn about their misunderstandings and stereotypes and then adapts his instruction to what they know or think. Corey has also drafted his written Teaching 'hilosophy. He has used his Field Instructor as a resource to help re&ise and edit this written document( and it is in its final stages.
