Respected Sir, My enthusiasm for pursuing internship at your institute stems from my quest for knowledge and zeal

to be a contributor to the solutions of challenging real world. With my project experience, innovative mindset and affinity for problem solving I believe I am a strong candidate for the internship. I have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 7.8 on a scale of 10. Along with academics I actively participate in sports and other extra-curricular activities. My leanings has always been towards research projects which can impact lives of people through their practical applications in real time. My research interests include: Communication systems Embedded systems Power systems I did a summer research internship in May 2013 with Power System Operation Corporation Limited, Mumbai, on project Dynamic Line Loadability which was about identifying weakest lines and buses in the system using PMU data's of the line by periodically calculating their voltage stability index through MATLAB code to avoid collapse of the power system. In the training I also learned about renewable power sources, SCADA and smart grid. I am interested to work on the project Indoor Positioning Using Wi-Fi Radio Maps as it intrigued me the most. Myself being a sportsperson I know the impact of this project especially in the field of indoor sports. I always wanted to do this kind of revolutionary project that can be implemented in real lifetime and will improve the present available technology. I am confident that my skills and qualifications will enable me to make a positive contribution to the project. I believe a research internship at under your guidance will be a great learning experience for me. I look forward to use my critical thinking and analytic skills to solve technical problems relevant to the project.
