Sickler AP Language 4 March 2014 Residents of New Mesopotamia Mission Statement The goal of New Mesopotamia is to depict a frightening and dramatic world that is not real but could be if the current state keeps developing in its current wave of destruction. Time Commitment Each resident is required to communicate with one another at least once for more than 5 minutes every other day. This can be done in any medium of communication but preferably the one set up by the group. The group must reserve time each day to think about the project independently so that the world can thrive from the creativity of its creators. We wouldnt want a repeat of Mary Shelleys masterpiece in which our world becomes murderous because it feels abandoned by its pompous creators. Additionally, the group is required to meet face to face at least once a week to discuss the world. Scope All thoughts and ideas are preferred to be documented so that the world is not bereft of any elaborate or eccentric imagination. Johnson 2 Giovanna Hughes Silaine Thordarson Supporting Resources Every member of the group is compelled to join the group text message or the group Facebook chat in which world matters will be discussed every other day if not every day. In addition, every member must get a Google account with Google docs so that group documents can be shared and edited amongst the entire group with efficient ease. Repercussions If any member of the group decides to go rogue and not participate to the fullest extent detailed in this contract, he will be asked once passively to change his behavior and work ethic. Upon the second time, the member will be put in front of a military tribunal (all of the other residents) at which time he will be severely mocked and ridiculed until there is visible signs of distress upon the face of the defendant. The Hierarchy A team leader will be assigned. The leader is in charge of initiated the discussions on the social mediums and in person. A team assessor will also be assigned. His purpose will be to observe the progress of each group member to ensure his or her productivity. He along with the team leader has the power to arraign an insubordinate to the military tribunal. I agree with all of the above stipulations and requirements. Signing my name, I assert that I will follow the letter and the spirit of this contract. I will also prick my finger and place a modicum of blood on the back of this paper.
