After replacing your Toner or Drum you get this message: Toner Sensor Error. Possible Cause #1: Toner cartridge may not be locked into the Drum properly or the Toner/Drum unit may not be locked into the printer correctly !esolution: Check the Toner cartridge "ock "e#er $%igure 1& and make sure it is in the "'C()D position $%igure 1&

Possible Cause #*: )rror may occur if the plastic +hutter / %lap on the side of the Toner cartridge is fully or partially do,n blocking the Toner +ensor ,indo, $C-... +eries printers& !esolution: /o#e the %lap up,ard and out of the opening to allo, for the Toner +ensor to become fully e0posed prior to reinstalling the Toner and Drum combination This is a simple1 easy step you can perform $!ef %igure *& The safest ,ay to mo#e this shutter is either ,ith a toothpick or something plastic Do NOT use a paper clip or anything metal to mo#e the shutter A metal ob2ect may short out the sensor making the Toner cartridge useless
