LOVE THY COMIC

Context:
So weve been working with Romeo and Juliet for sometime now and weve watched West Side Story and a modern version of the play. We have compared, contrasted, and critiqued how each movie tells the story. Now its your turn! You are in control. Just like the authors you make many changes yet still remain true to the original story. Ready? Set? Create!

What To Do:
1. After you have chosen your scene (and confirmed me!) With your group mates decide on the setting, the time period, and the character names. 2. Now its time to get busy! You can start creating your comic at http://www.makebeliefscomix.com/Comix/. Remember to include the major element. We do not want to move to far away from the story. 3. Prepare for your presentation. Be able to answer these questions: Why did you choose this setting? What inspired the changes you have made? Who is Juliet, Romeo, and other characters? 4. Lastly, write a one-page reflection. What did you contribute to the project? What would you have done differently? What did you find interesting?
