ABC order Dr. Seuss cut/paste worksheet. Materials: Cat in the Hat Glyph, Cat in the Hat book. ABC order worksheet. Evaluation: Hang up the Cat in the Hat Glyph in the hallway.

Objective: Students will be able to discuss The Lorax and sort words according to their word families as well as identify rhyming words with 100% accuracy by the end of the day. Procedure: Read The Lorax. Review word families. Dr. Seuss Rhyme Time worksheet, if extra time. Materials: The Lorax book. Evaluation: Collect word families and rhyme time worksheet.

Objective: Students will be able to compare and contrast The Oncler and the Lorax using a venn diagram with 100% accuracy by the end of the day. Procedure: Finish reading The Lorax. If I had the last truffula seed writing, one or two sentences. The Oncler and Lorax compare/contrast venn diagram. Materials: Writing paper, The Lorax Book. Evaluation: Collect the writing paper and the venn diagram.
