Precautions
1. Location Keep the unit away from locations where it is likely to be exposed to high temperatures or humidity such as near radiators, stoves, etc. Also avoid locations which are subject to excessive dust accumulation or vibration which could cause mechanical damage and locations subject to strong electromagnetic elds, such as close to broadcast equipment. 2. Avoid Physical Shocks Strong physical shocks to the unit can cause damage. Handle it with care. 3. Do Not Open the Case or Attempt Repairs or Modications Yourself This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer all maintenance to qualied Yamaha service personnel. Opening the case and/or tampering with the internal circuitry voids the warranty. 4. Always power off before making connections Always turn the power OFF before connecting or disconnecting cables. This is important to prevent damage to the unit itself as well as other connected equipment. 5. Handle Cables Carefully Always plug and unplug cables including the AC power cord by gripping the connector, not the cord. 6. Clean With a Soft Dry Cloth Never use solvents such as benzine or thinner to clean the unit. Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. 7. Always Use the Correct Power Supply The unit should only be powered using the supplied Yamaha AC Adaptor. The use of other adaptors can cause serious damage to the unit. Never use a cascade arrangement for the power supply connection from other equipment.
Introduction
The REV100 is a high-quality, inexpensive, and easy-to-use stereo Digital Reverberator. It can be used for home recording or smaller sound reinforcement applications. It is a true stereo processor with two inputs and two outputs. Along with a high-quality stereo reverb, the REV100 offers delay-plus-reverb and modulation-plus-reverb effects. The 16-bit A/D and D/A converters provide superb sound quality and a wide frequency response due to the 44.1 kHz sampling rate. The REV100 is simple to use, with rotary controls for setting levels and editing effect parameters. A MIDI IN connection is provided so that effects programs can also be selected using MIDI messages. To take full advantage of your REV100, please read this manual thoroughly and keep it for future reference.

1 INPUT LEVEL control This rotary control sets the input level. You should set the level so that the PEAK (L/R) indicators only ash occasionally. 2 PEAK (L/R) indicators These LEDs will light when the REV100 is receiving a peak level signal. 3 MIX BALANCE (DRY/WET) control This rotary control sets the balance of wet (effect) and dry (no effect) sounds. 4 LED display (7-segment LED, MIDI indicator, INT indicator) This 7-segment display indicates the current program in Program Mode. It shows the value of parameters when the REV100 is in Edit Mode and it shows MIDI program num-
bers. When you select the MIDI Program Change table, the MIDI indicator will light, and when you select the internal programs, the INT indicator will light. Refer to Setting the MIDI Program Change Table on page 7. 5 PROGRAM ( , , MIDI, STORE) keys These keys allow you to select the different programs, edit the MIDI Program Change table, and store modied programs. 6 Edit (DELAY, DECAY, LEVEL) controls These rotary controls edit the amount of parameters of the current effect. When the edited value of a parameter is the same as the currently saved value, the LED to the left of the control will light. Refer to Editing a Program on page 6. 7 POWER switch Press this switch ON to turn on the power.

1 DC 12V IN inlet The supplied AC Adapter is plugged into this connector. 2 MIDI IN connector The REV100 receives MIDI data via this connection. 3 OUTPUT connectors These 1/4" phone connectors are used to output the processed sound from the REV100. If you are using it monophonically, plug a jack into the L-MONO connection only.
4 INPUT connectors These 1/4" phone connectors are used to plug a sound source into the REV100. If the source is monophonic, plug the jack into the L-MONO connection only.

Installation and Connections
Install the REV100 in a rack or place it in a location where it is safe and stable. Connect the AC Adapter to the DC 12V IN inlet, then plug the Adapter into a mains supply. To prevent the power from being accidentally disconnected, hook the cable around the anchor. Press the POWER switch to turn the REV100 on.

Each of the effects in the REV100 has several parameters. Three of the most effective parameters can be edited using the rotary controls for quick, versatile, and simple operation.
Editing a Program
1. Press the and keys until the desired program number is displayed on the 7-segment LED. 2. Select one of the Edit controls, for example, the DELAY rotary control. 3. Rotate the control. The value on the 7-segment LED changes to reect the adjustment you are making to the parameter. When the parameter value you are editing matches the preset value, the LED beside the control lights up:

Storing a Program
1. Press the STORE key. The program number will ash on the 7-segment LED. 2. Press the STORE key again to conrm the operation. Note that you cannot select a different program number to store your changes in.

A MIDI IN connection is provided so that the REV100 effects programs can be selected and modified using MIDI messages.
When the MIDI indicator is lit, the 7-segment LED displays the current MIDI Program Change number. 2. Select another MIDI Program Change number by pressing the or keys. 3. To select the internal program numbers, press the MIDI key again. The MIDI indicator dot is switched off and the INT indicator dot will light up. 4. Modify the internal program number for the selected MIDI Program Change number by pressing the or keys. 5. To quit this mode, press and hold the MIDI key for approximately one second. The current indicator, either the MIDI indicator or the INT indicator will switch off and the 7-segment LED will display the currently selected program number.

Introduction

Coupez toujours lalimentation avant de procder des branchements Noubliez jamais de mettre les appareils hors tension avant de brancher ou de dbrancher des cbles an de ne pas endommager lappareil lui-mme ainsi que le matriel qui y est branch. 5. Manipulez les cbles avec soin Pour brancher et dbrancher des cbles (y compris le cble dalimentation), prenez-le toujours par la prise et non par le cble. 6. Nettoyez avec un chiffon doux et sec Nutilisez jamais de solvants, tels que du benzne ou un diluant pour nettoyer lappareil. Prenez les poussires avec un chiffon doux et sec. 7. Utilisez toujours une source dalimentation adquate Nutilisez que ladaptateur fourni par Yamaha pour mettre lappareil sous tension. 1 Commande INPUT LEVEL Cette commande vous permet de rgler le niveau dentre. Vous devriez rglez le volume de telle faon que la diode PEAK (L/R) ne clignote quoccasionnellement. 2 Diodes PEAK (L/R) Ces diodes sallument lorsque le REV100 reoit un signal de niveau maximum. 3 Commande MIX BALANCE (DRY/WET) Cette commande vous permet de rgler la balance entre le signal deffet et le signal original. 4 Afchage diodes (afchage 7 segments, tmoin MIDI, tmoin INT) En mode Program, cet afchage sept segments indique le programme slectionn. Il donne galement la valeur des paramtres lorsque le REV100 se trouve en mode Edit et il donne les numros de programme MIDI. Lorsque vous choisissez le tableau des changements de programme
MIDI, le tmoin MIDI sallume tandis que lorsque vous choisissez les programmes internes, le tmoin INT sallume. Voyez Rglage du tableau de changement de programme MIDI la page 7. 5 Touches PROGRAM ( , , MIDI, STORE) Ces touches vous permettent de slectionner diffrents programmes, dditer le tableau de changement de programme MIDI et de stocker les programmes modis. 6 Commandes Edit (DELAY, DECAY, LEVEL) Ces commandes rotatives pilotent les paramtres de leffet choisi. Lorsque la valeur dite dun paramtre est la mme que celle qui est dj sauvegarde, la diode situe gauche de la commande sallumera. Voyez Edition dun programme la page 6. 7 Touche POWER Appuyez sur cette touche pour mettre le REV100 sous tension.

Installez le REV100 dans un rack ou placez-le dans un endroit sr et stable. Branchez ladaptateur la borne DC 12 IN puis raccordez-le une prise secteur. Pour viter que lalimentation ne soit accidentellement coupe, accrochez le cble lancre. Appuyez sur la touche POWER pour mettre le REV100 sous tension.

Der Deutschen Bundespost wurde das Inverkehrbringen dieses Gertes angezeigt und die Berechtigung zur berprfung der Serie auf Einhaltung der Bestimmungen eingerumt. Einleitung
Das REV100 ist ein hochwertiges und benutzerfreundliches Digital-Hallgert, das man sowohl im Heimstudio als auch in kleineren Beschallungsanlagen einsetzen kann. Bei diesem Gert handelt es sich um einen echten Stereoprozessor mit zwei getrennten Einund ebensovielen Ausgngen. Auer hochqualitativem Stereo-Hall bietet das REV100 auch Delay + Reverb (Hall) sowie Modulation + Reverb Effekte. Dank der 16bit A/D- und D/A-Wandler ist das Ausgangssignal wirklich erfreulich gut. Auch der Frequenzgang kann sich dank der 44,1kHz Sampling-Frequenz sehen lassen. Wie bereits gesagt, ist das REV100 ein leicht zu bedienendes Gert mit Drehreglern fr die Pegel- sowie die Parameterwerteinstellung. Darber hinaus bietet das REV100 einen MIDI-Eingang, so da man die Effektprogramme auch via MIDI aufrufen kann. Bitte lesen Sie sich diese Bedienungsanleitung durch, bevor Sie das REV100 einsetzen. Sonst erfahren Sie u.U. nmlich nie, was es alles kann.

Vorsichtsmanahmen
1. Aufstellung Stellen Sie das Pult niemals an einen extrem warme oder feuchten Ort - also niemals in die Nhe eines Heizkrpers, Ofens usw. Meiden Sie auerdem staubige Orte sowie Orte, an denen das Pult starken Vibrationen ausgesetzt ist, die zu mechanischen Schden fhren knnten. Stellen Sie das Pult niemals an Orte, die starken elektromagnetischen Strahlungen ausgesetzt sind, wie 2.B. Sendapparaten. 2. Umsichtig behandeln Lassen Sie das Pult niemals fallen und behandeln Sie die Bedienelemente mit der gebhrenden Umsicht. 3. ffnen Sie niemals das Gehuse und versuchen Sie erst recht nicht, das REV100 selbst zu reparieren Dieses Pult enthlt keinerlei Teile, die vom Anwender selbst gewartet werden drfen. berlassen Sie alle Wartungsarbeiten dem qualizierten Yamaha-Kundendienst. Bitte bedenken Sie, da beim ffnen des Gehuses automatisch der Garantieanspruch erlischt. 4. Schalten Sie das Pult aus, bevor Sie die Anschlsse vornehmen oder ndern Schalten Sie das REV100 immer AUS, bevor Sie Kabel anschlieen oder abtrennen. Das ist sehr wichtig, damit weder das Pult, noch die daran angeschlossenen Gerte beschdigt werden. 5. Behandeln Sie die Kabel mit der gebotenen Umsicht Da man Kabelanschlsse nur herstellen bzw. lsen darf, indem man an dem Stecker statt an der Schnur zieht (was auch fr das Netzkabel gilt), wissen Sie bestimmt bereits. 6. Mit einem trockenen weichen Tuch abwischen Verwenden Sie niemals Lsungsmittel oder Waschbenzin zum Reinigen des Pults. Wischen Sie es ausschlielich mit einem trockenen weichen Tuch ab. 7. Achten Sie auf die richtige Netzspannung Das Gert darf ausschlielich mit einem Netzteil von Yamaha betrieben werden. Verwenden Sie niemals Netzgerte anderer Hersteller, da Sie das Gert sonst beschdigen knnen. Auerdem sollten Sie die Stromspeisung niemals von einem anderen Gert abzweigen.

1 INPUT LEVEL Regler Mit diesem Regler knnen Sie den Eingangspegel einstellen. Achten Sie dabei immer darauf, da die PEAK (L/R) Dioden lediglich bei Signalspitzen kurz aufblinken. 2 PEAK (L/R) Dioden Diese LED-Dioden leuchten auf, sobald das REV100 ein Signal empfngt, dessen Pegel sich an der Verzerrungsgrenze bendet. 3 MIX BALANCE (DRY/WET) Regler Mit diesem Regler knnen Sie die Balance zwischen dem Original- und Effektsignal einstellen. 4 LED Display (7segmentige Anzeige, MIDI Diode, INT Diode) Im Programm-Betrieb zeigt dieses Display die Nummer des angewhlten Programms an. Im Edit-Betrieb hingegen erscheint hier der Wert des aufgerufenen Parameters. Auerdem werden hier die MIDI-Programmnummern
angezeigt. Wenn Sie die MIDI-Programmwechseltabelle aufrufen, leuchtet die MIDI Diode. Whlen Sie ein internes Programm an, so leuchtet die INT Diode. Siehe Einstellen der MIDI-Programmwechseltabelle auf S. 7. 5 PROGRAM ( , , MIDI, STORE) Taster Mit diesen Tastern knnen Sie die Programme anwhlen, die MIDI-Programmwechseltabelle editieren sowie editierte Programme speichern. 6 Edit (DELAY, DECAY, LEVEL) Regler Mit diesen Drehreglern knnen Sie die Parameterwerte des derzeit angewhlten Effekts editieren. Schrauben Sie das REV100 in ein Rack oder stellen Sie es an einen sicheren und stabilen Ort. Verbinden Sie das beiliegende Netzteil mit der DC 12V IN Buchse und den Stecker des Netzteils mit einer Steckdose. Am besten wickeln Sie die dnne Schnur um den Haken, damit dem REV100 nicht aus Versehen der Saft ausgeht. Drcken Sie den POWER Taster, um das REV100 einzuschalten.

Im Speicher des REV100 bendet sich eine MIDI-Programmwechseltabelle, die Sie editieren knnen, um eine optimale MIDISteuerung der Programmanwahl zu erzielen. Die MIDI-Programmwechseltabelle bietet 99 Zuordnungsfelder. Sobald das REV100 eine MIDI-Programmnummer empfngt, ruft es das Programm auf, das Sie dieser Nummer zugeordnet haben. Ab Werk empfngt das REV100 auf allen MIDI-Kanlen (MIDI Omni). Da das lngst nicht immer wnschenswert ist, knnen Sie folgendermaen einen Empfangskanal einstellen: 1. Halten Sie MIDI gedrckt, whrend Sie das REV100 einschalten. Im LED-Display erscheinen nun abwechselnd die Meldung 2. Drcken Sie oder und die MIDI-Kanalnummer.

Introduccin
El REV100 es un Reverberador Digital estereofnico de alta calidad, econmico y fcil de utilizar. Se puede utilizar para hacer grabaciones en casa o para aplicaciones de refuerzo de sonido de menor importancia. Se trata de un autntico procesador esterofnico con dos entradas y dos salidas. Junto con una reverberacin estereofnica de alta calidad, el REV100 ofrece efectos de retraso ms reverberacin y de modulacin ms reverberacin. Los conversores A/D (analgico-digital) y D/A (digital-analgico) proporcionan una excelente calidad de sonido y una amplia respuesta en frecuencia debido a la tasa de muestreo de 44,1 kHz. El REV100 es fcil de utilizar, tiene controles giratorios para ajustar los niveles y para editar los parmetros de los efectos. Se facilita una conexin de entrada MIDI (MIDI IN) para que tambin se puedan seleccionar los programas de efectos utilizando mensajes MIDI. PRECAUCIONES
1. No abra la cubierta ni intente personalmente hacer reparaciones ni modicaciones Este producto no contiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas por el usuario. Cuando necesite labores de reparacin o mantenimiento avise a personal cualicado de Yamaha. Si abre la cubierta y/o intenta forzar los circuitos internos la garanta quedar anulada. 4. Apague siempre el aparato antes de hacer las conexiones Apague siempre el aparato (OFF) antes de ponerse a conectar o desconectar los cables. Acurdese siempre de hacerlo para evitar daar el aparato u otros equipos que puedan estar conectados a l. 5. Maneje los cables con cuidado Al enchufar y desenchufar los cables - incluyendo el cable de alimentacin de CA - tire del conector, no del cable. 6. Limpie el aparato con un trapo suave y seco No utilice nunca disolventes, tales como la bencina ni diluyentes para limpiar el aparato. Para limpiar o secar el aparato utilice un trapo seco y suave. 7. Emplee siempre la alimentacin correcta Para poner en marcha el aparato no es conveniente utilizar otro adaptador de CA que no sea el que suministra Yamaha. Si se utilizan otros adaptadores se pueden causar daos graves al aparato. No utilice nunca un acoplamiento en serie para la conexin del suministro energtico proveniente de otro equipo.

1 Control de Nivel de Entrada (INPUT LEVEL) Este control giratorio es el que ajusta el nivel de entrada. El nivel se debera ajustar de manera que los indicadores de Mximo (Izquierdo/Derecho) (PEAK (L/R)) destelleen solo de vez en cuando. 2 Indicadores de Mximo (Izquierdo/Derecho) (PEAK (L/R)) Estos diodos fotoemisores se iluminarn cuando el REV100 est recibiendo una seal de nivel mximo. 3 Control Balance de Mezcla (Seco/Hmedo) MIX BALANCE (DRY/WET) Este control giratorio ajusta el balance de los sonidos hmedos (con efectos) y secos (sin efectos). 4 Visualizador de LEDs (diodos fotoemisores) (LED de 7 segmentos, indicador MIDI, indicador INT) Este visualizador de 7 segmentos indica cul es el programa que est funcionando en el Modo Programa. Instale el REV100 en una estantera o colquelo en un lugar donde se encuentre en posicin estable y a salvo de posibles daos. Conecte el adaptador de CA a la entrada de CC 12V IN, despus enchufe el adaptador en una toma de la red elctrica. Para evitar que la alimentacin se desconecte accidentalmente, enganche el cable alrededor de la armadura de sujecin. Presione el interruptor de Alimentacin (POWER) para encender el REV100.

Cada uno de los efectos del REV100 tiene varios parmetros. Tres de los parmetros ms efectivos se pueden editar utilizando los controles giratorios que permiten un funcionamiento rpido, verstil y sencillo.
Edicin de un Programa
1. Presione las teclas y hasta que se exhiba en el diodo fotoemisor de 7 segmentos el nmero de programa deseado. 2. Seleccione uno de los controles de Edicin, por ejemplo, el control giratorio Retraso (DELAY). 3. Gire el control. El valor del diodo fotoemisor de 7 segmentos cambiar para reejar el ajuste que se est haciendo en el parmetro. Cuando el valor del parmetro que usted est editando corresponda al valor prejado, el diodo fotoemisor que hay al lado del control se iluminar:

Almacenar un Programa
1. Presione la tecla Almacenar (STORE). El nmero del programa destellear en el diodo fotoemisor de 7 segmentos. 2. Presione la tecla Almacenar (STORE) otra vez para conrmar la operacin. Observe que no se puede seleccionar un nmero diferente de programa para almacenar en l los cambios.

Se facilita una conexin de entrada MIDI (MIDI IN) para que se puedan seleccionar los programas de efectos del REV100 y se puedan modificar utilizando mensajes MIDI.
Cuando se enciende el indicador MIDI, el diodo fotoemisor de 7 segmentos exhibe el nmero de Cambio de Programa MIDI que existe en ese momento. 2. Seleccione otro nmero de Cambio de Programa MIDI presionando las teclas y . 3. Para seleccionar los nmeros de programas internos, presione la tecla MIDI otra vez. El punto del indicador MIDI se apagar y el punto del indicador INT se iluminar. 4. Modique los nmeros de programas internos para el nmero de Cambio de Programa MIDI seleccionado presionando las teclas y . 5. Para salir de este modo, presione y mantenga presionada la tecla MIDI durante aproximadamente un segundo. El indicador que est funcionando, sea el indicador MIDI o el indicador INT, se apagar y el diodo fotoemisor de 7 segmentos exhibir el nmero del programa seleccionado en ese momento.
