    The Sri Lankan Treasury held a weekly primary auction to re-issue 15 billion rupees of maturing Treasury bills. The auction was oversubscribed with 31.2 billion rupees in bids received. It was decided to accept 11.3 billion rupees from the auction. Treasury bills with maturities of 91, 182, and 364 days were auctioned off at weighted average yields of 6.58%, 6.78%, and 7.02% respectively.
