PROJECT BRIEF

For this project, I was asked to create and design an ebook of the classical book of my choice. Research for this project included: concept studies for the cover image studies for the inner illustrations searching for a text file for the book I chose After doing my research, I was required to build several things for this ebook, using several programs. The requirements were as follows: a cover in color and black & white (designed in Illustrator) inner illustrations (Illustrator) formatting the book in Dreamweaver formatting the book in InDesign formatting the book as an EPUB (ebook) file downloading the book onto a CD designing a CD case for the ebook in InDesign

This project was an interesting challenge that required both creativity and technical skill. After a good deal of research, I decided to do The Jungle Book, a timeless classic. This book follows my process in creating an ebook for this wonderful piece of literature. Enjoy.
