FINDINGS
The age group of youngster has the high degree of awareness about the newspaper. Particularly the age group belongs to 21-30 has highest degree of awareness. The graduate people have more preference than any other levels of educated people. The newspaper price was affordable to the readers, but the recent hike in price of newspaper due to the rise in the news-print was not studied. The quality of the news paper was identified as the quality one. The news coverage of the news paper was satisfied by the readers. The news paper photo clarity is not much satisfied by the reader at good level. Most of the people ranked the Kerala Kaumudi as in the third position. Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi occupy first and second positions respectively. The advertisement of the Kerala Kaumudi is found as effective to create and build effective brand awareness. The publicity by the celebrities is not much good to build awareness. It should be more concentrated to improve the activities in a planned way. the

SUGGESTIONS
The organization need to concentrate on all kind of age group to satisfy their requirements in the newspaper. The font sizes of the news paper is try to improve at better level to ensure for the better readability. The photo clarity of the Kerala Kaumudi newspaper can be improved to avoid the attrition. The coverage of all areas of news were dissatisfied by the reader of Kerala Kaumudi, so the organization may concentrate and try to include the most possible news. The advertisement actives were given more attention through media by celebrities bring better awareness.

CONCLUSION
Building brand awareness is essential for building brand equity. It includes use of various renowned channels of promotion such as advertising, word of mouth publicity, social media like bogs, sponsorships, launching events, etc. To create brand awareness, it is important to create reliable brand image, slogans and taglines. The brand message to be communicated should also be consistent. Strong brand awareness leads to high sales and high market share. Brand awareness can be regarded as a means through which consumers become acquainted and familiar with a brand and recognize that brand.
