Monthly Writing (Creative Writing) Today I was in the school when I started mumbling words. My teacher was intrigued and asked me if I was drunk. Obviously I wasnt. So I responded to my literature teacher that I wasnt drunk but that I was reading To Kill a Mockingbird. I know that my english is not the best one and without noticing I said Tequila Mockingbird instead of To Kill a Mockingbird. I didnt know I said it wrong, when all in a sudden my teacher started to laugh. I said to myself, Whats wrong with this guy?. He then told me that it was a common mistake to say Tequila Mockingbird, since that word can be used as a joke. I was intrigued by that and I started to do some research. The joke was difficult to do since you need to combine both elements. I was in my house thinking about chemistry. When all in a sudden, I realized that when you mix to elements you create a product. So I used my chemistry knowledge to do my english joke. At the end of that day I finally crated the literature joke. It was something like this: What happens when you mix literature and alcohol? Well, you have Tequila Mockingbird. Days passed and I told my joke to all my friends. It was until I saw something atrocious happened. I was in Tumblr, like always, when I saw my joke in a blogpost. I started to read it and realize it was the same. I disregard my uniqueness. Since then my life has been purposeless. I noticed that my jokes were not funny, therefore I wasnt a cool person to be around with. Then I laughed and started to drink Tequila.

Has racism really ended? Racism continues affecting the lives of negro citizens in the United States. Racism has always tormented the people who suffer it. Pierre Berton once said, Racism is a refuge for the ignorant. It seeks to divide and to destroy. It is the enemy of freedom and deserves to be met head - on and stamped out. It is said that the United States is a free country. Pierre Berton clearly explains that with racism theres no freedom, and the USA is an example of this. United Stated is known by the racism to the african americans. In the 19th century USA had one of the bloodiest wars in their history so that the negro slavery could be abolished. The Civil war ended in 1865 and it was supposed for ending racism, but in 1960 racism showed again. The book How to Kill A Mockingbird shows that racism hasnt end. Tom Robinson is sent to court because a white says so. And only a white can defend him, even though racism is over. Tom Robinson fights for his rights. It was not until an african american became a president that this problem reduced itself. The things that are not like us are strange. This happens in races. In conclusion, racism is still happening and is not going to end as long as people divide themselves. United States is not a free country, it is a country that does not do anything against racism. Racism is not freedom. Several events have happened and there have been no change. How far will racism go if there are no actions against it?
