1.

Give a brief anecdotal description of these classroom elemenb: use of technologyr lighting, traffic patterns, instructional displays, management, and motivational elements:

There is a computer area withfour computers that is located in the upper left hand corner of the room. Lighting is well maintained, and trffic is not a problem. The teacher mostly uses the smartboard to teach, but she also uses a projector. The classroom is managed well, and it is a positive environment.

2.

What are some ways you ohserved that the physical arrangement of furniture enhanced or supported a positive learning environment?

The deslrs are arranged in groups of three orfour, allowing students to work together on class work and in centers. There is also a big, curtted table (cashew-shaped) for students to get onone-one time with the teacher.

3.

What are some ways you observed that the physical arrangement of the furniture detracted, inhibited, or took away from a positive learning environment?

The teacher does not have an actual desk. Ifeel that she should have one so that she can organize her materials more effectively. However, despite the lack of her own desk, she still organizes her clqssroom well.

4.

What are some ways you observed that the visual resources{ecorations, bulletin boards, etc.----enhanced or supported a positive learning environment??

The visuals enhance the room. Student projects are hung up on the wall, as well as the alphabet

andfun posters.

5.

What are some ways you observed that the visual resources detracted, inhibited, or took away from a positive learning environment?

Nothing,was a distraction.

6.

What are some ways you observed that the teacher physically moved around in, and otherwise interacted with the physical space?*

The teacher walked around occasionally as she was talking, made relatable examples, and used the technologt available to her ffictivelywhile she was teaching.
