1) An authoritarian government is often seen as a bad government. However, it is needed to control crime and have safety for the people. The only way to prevent tragedies from happening is if the government sets up rules and controls everything. The reason being is that there are terrorists out there trying to break down society as a whole. But an authoritarian government would prevent such things from happening. The government will protect its people from any harm that comes their way. It is hard to believe that there are such stereotypes that politicians are corrupt. If politicians were corrupt, they would not be looking out for peoples safety. Instead, they would be living their life without caring if the people were protected or not. An authoritarian government is needed for public protection because without it chaos will arise and there will not be social control to protect the people. In police cars you people are able to see that they are trying to protect, because on them the phrase for your protection is printed. Such phrase makes people feel safe, and that whatever the car contains, is being taken away for their own good. The police is there to control crime and prevent anyone from getting hurt. Otherwise, the crime rate will increase and people will live their lives scared. During the news, people will see what the government has done for them. From finding cures for virus outbreaks, to containing such outbreaks and preventing it from spreading. The government just wants its people to be safe and feel safe in the society they are living in.

Lemus 2 The motto for this model society is strength through unity, unity through faith. The only way a society can function properly is if there is unity. Through unity people are able to create social control. Social control is needed in order to carry out the motto of the society and live up to its standards. People have to unite and fight against criminals and other things that may put in danger their wellbeing. There is government curfews set up in order for people to avoid any crime or danger that may be out on the streets. It is intended to keep people safe and well. There is no one out there that will protect people as much as they are protected now. This government is essentially what is needed for the wellbeing of the people. Without an authoritarian government, the streets and any other part of the country will turn into chaos. Chaos will be the end of normality, peace and safety for the people. Chaos will lead to riots and a variety of people will try to impose their beliefs upon others. Different mindsets will arise, creating conflict and a division of the people. The government is only trying to protect the people from any kind of outrageous act that can happen so it does not lead to chaos. If chaos were to happen, there will not be a vast amount of technological advances due to the fact that everything will be destroyed. After the St. Marys incident, scientists have been able to progress in order to prevent any future attacks. This was able to be accomplished only because of the type of government there is. The fact that this government cares enough to set strict rules and keep people in check, shows how far they are willing to go for protection. They will not flinch if the public ever needs anything. If people unite and promise to keep this society a safe and peaceful place, the authoritarian government has to stay. There is no other way that crime will be controlled; there is no other way that people will feel protected. If there is no authoritarian government, there will be no end to the atrocities that may happen without protection. Not only will people be safe, but

Lemus 3 they will not have to worry about a thing in their lives. The only thing they will have to worry about is working and bringing bread home. Life in the government that people currently have is very easy and crime free. However, the violence does not stop just because of the type of government there is. Plenty of people have complained that the government is corrupt and that they fabricate lies so people will believe it is the right thing. These are the people that are creating this society corrupt and violent. They are acting out and not uniting to the rest of the civilians. The people against the current government are anarchists that want people to revolt. Those people against t government are the main ones that are creating chaos. The people of this country want peace and safety and this government can give just that. This society cannot progress if there are people out there not uniting to make this a better place. Kids will have to live in this society later on in their lives and as a responsible government, they want to give them the best that they can offer. Kids are the future, but if chaos rises, there will be no future for the children. The main reason the government is authoritarian is because of protection. The government supports the phrase people should not be afraid of their government, government should be afraid of the people because anything that the people do will reflect on the government. The government want the people to keep reelecting this type of power, and by giving them the essential needs such as protection, the people will reelect. It is not about forcing beliefs down peoples throats, it is about how the people feel and if they feel like this is a great place to stay and grow, this is what they need. Chaos is just around the corner, but due to the intelligence that the police has now, it is being prevented. Scientists are able to make advances because of the current government as well. Advances, protection and safety are the main goals for an authoritarian government, and it will seek after what people want and need.
