Ardie May Birth Date: January 19th, 2009 Physical Description: He has blond hair on the shaggy side, blue eyes about 3 ft. tall. Family Background: His parents are divorced and he has 3 older siblings, the youngest sibling is in high school and the others are older, he is an uncle, he sees his dad occasionally and he mom and grandma are a consent in his life. Temperament: Most of the time he is an easy child, he follows the rules, gets along with the other children, he takes to new experiences, but he does have a hard time keeping is hands to himself.

Activity: Loft Playing with Manipulative Date: 1-22-14 Time: 10:30 a.m. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was in loft playing with the lacing beads and string, he had two beads on the string and he had the string over the top of the loft saying I got a bite, I got a bite.

Activity: Math Date: 1-29-14 Time: 10:00 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was in math with the geometric shapes and he was sorting them by the different shapes.

Activity: Math Date: 2-4-14 Time: 10:05 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was sitting at the math table with the craft sticks and he took 4 of the craft sticks and made a square out of the craft sticks.

Activity: Science: Sink or Float Date: 2-5-14 Time: 10:30 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was working on the blue table with objects that float and ones that sink and a bucket of water. Ardie picked up the marble and said I think it will sink because it is hard.

Activity: Gather Time Date: 2-6-14 Time: 9:20 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger When everyone was coming to sit on the gather rug, John was the first on the rug and when one of the childs sat down he said you sat on the color black, then another child came and he said and you are on the number 5, the n after that child sat down he sat on the number one and said I am on one and it is red.

Activity: Scooters Date: 2-17-14 Time: 10:35 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was on going down the little hill in the classroom on a scooter, he was on kneeling on the scooter and his hands on the handles saying Im on a surf board, Im surfing.

Activity: Free Play Date: 2-25-14 Time: 10:35 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was playing with another friend and the friend was holding a sting with his right hand that had a large bead on the end of the string. The friend was walking around the classroom with the sting and bead behind him dragging on the ground and Ardie May was on all fours crawling around following the string and bead saying wolf, wolf.

Activity: Board Game Date: 3-17-14 Time: 4:00 P.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was playing with the checkers/chess set, he had all the pieces setup on all the black spots and a few on the red spots, he would move one of the pieces on one side of the board and he would then move on the other side of the board and he would move a piece and then he would go back to other side and move a piece. Then he stacked up all the black checker pieces and all the red checker pieces and then once they are all stacked he took a small pawn of the chess set and knocked down the stack of both red and black checker pieces.

Activity: Science and Math Center Date: 3-20-14 Time: 4:20 P.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was in the science/math center working with the geometric board, he took a rubber band and made a pentagon shape out of the rubber band and he said Miss Courtney, I made a house, he pointed to the top and said here is a triangle, and then he pointed to the bottom and said here is a rectangle, it makes a house.

Activity: Light Table Date: 3-24-14 Time: 3:50 P.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger I was starting to clean the light table off when Ardie May came over and said I can help you, and so he was helping me take the glass square cubes and put them in the box they belonged in. There were a few cubes left and Ardie may grabbed them in both hand and said Miss Courtney here are five. And he did that without using his finger to count them out.

Activity: Puzzles Date: 3-31-14 Time: 10:30 A.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was playing by himself, he was working with the nesting alphabet blocks, he grabbed the biggest box, and then the next biggest, and then the next size, then the next size, then the next size and lastly the smallest box and the said Miss Courtney look, pointing to the biggest box moving his finger up to the top saying, its biggest to smallest.

Activity: Puzzle Game Date: 4-4-14 Time: 2:00 P.M. Name: Ardie May Recorder: Courtney Willger Ardie May was working on alphabet game, he had all four board pieces in front of him and the individual card alphabets scattered around him. He picked up the letter e that was lower case and I asked him Ardie what letter do you have in your hands, he said I dont know. I told him it was the letter e and then he was looking around the four dif ferent card pictures and he then found the picture with the egg and he asked does egg start with the letter e, and I said yes it does Ardie.
