Think-Tac-Toe
In order to extend your learning on the life of the Early Georgians (Creek and Cherokee) compared to our life today, complete three activities (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to win tic-tac-toe.
Create a game that early day Cherokee or Creek children would play outside.
Create a chart diagramming the similarities and differences between the early Georgians and people in Georgia today.
Wild Card
Using recycled and outside materials create a diorama of a Creek or Cherokee village. Create your own activity to extend your learning of how Early Georgians life style compares to how we live today. You must complete a learning contract and have it approved by the teacher before beginning the activity. Create a skit of an encounter that the Cherokee and/or Creek people might have faced while hunting and gathering food.
Reflect upon what you have learned about the everyday life of the Creek and Cherokee people. Write a journal entry expressing your thoughts and ideas.
Create a play depicting the life and times of the early Georgians (Creek & Cherokee people).
