Special Applications:

Correct riding ring retainer block lubrication is
essential to prevent scoring of the rubbing
surfaces. Selection of the lubricant for this
application is important. Often mineral or
synthetic based lubricants that are sprayed
onto the contact surfaces catch fire.

Molylube Water Based Dry Film Lubricant is a
water-based lubricant containing molybdenum
disulfide, graphite and a proprietary water solu-
ble binder. The product will not catch fire and it
will provide a low friction lubricating film that
is bonded onto the sliding contact surfaces,
reducing wear and improving block life.

Special Applications:

Selecting a lubricant for a cement kiln or horizontal mill can
be a difficult decision. Many lubricants are available;
greases for spray application or high viscosity oils for
immersion lubrication. Clear Gear Lubricant provides both.

ClearGear Lubricant Light and Medium are especially suited
for spray or drip application on mill girth gears and pinions
where moderate speeds are encountered.

Clear Gear Lubricant Heavy and Extra Heavy are
especially suited for spray or immersion application on
low speed gears such as cement kilns where loads are
high and speeds are very low.

The high viscosity of Clear Gear Lubricant Extra Heavy
makes it especially suitable for kiln gear use where
standard operating temperature can be high.

Clear Gear Lubricant can be used to replace all grease,
asphalt and high viscosity fluid type open gear lubri-
cants.
