Explanation: This radio ad serves as both persuasion and mobilization.

The purpose of
this ad is to continue to associate our candidate, Thom Tillis, with traditional
conservative values and the ability to deliver those values in Washington. We also
mention that Election Day is May 6
th
and attempt to instill a sense of urgency and the
importance of voting on Election Day.
This ad will begin running a week before the early voting period and run through
Election Day on May 6. Our radio ad will attempt to persuade the last group of voters to
choose Thom Tillis as the right candidate to deliver the conservative values in
Washington. We will also attempt to mobilize the voters that already support Tillis.

Wife: Honey, what are you doing on May 6

Husband: Well I have to work, but Im all yours after that.
Wife: Then I guess you are not voting for the Republican Primary on May 6.
Husband: Of course Im voting [loud, high pitch]
Wife: Well then, tell me who you are voting for? Wait, let me guess, you dont know yet.
Husband: how do you know? Who are you voting for?
Wife: Well, I am voting for Thom Tillis. I care about conservative values and
Husband: All Republicans care!!!
Wife: But can all Republicans carry out the conservative values?
Husband: Hmmmm.
Wife: Thats what I thought!! Thom Tillis is the only one with years of legislative
experience. He is the only one who has the ability to deliver the conservative values.
Husband: Huh, well honey, he seems like a great choice!!
Wife: So Are we finally agreeing on something?
Husband: Oh yea, Thom Tillis for U.S. Senate
[Sound starts fading]
Huband: Honey, can you bake an apple pie for dessert?
Wife: .
