African War Against Poaching
Africa is challenged with poaching problems but, there is a fight against poaching to
solve the problem. There is a war between poachers and rangers and in this battle, Rangers and
wildlife pachers, humans and animals are sufferin, (Wildlife Warzone, 2013). Involved with this
battle, poaching rates have increased. Part of the reason paching rates have shyrocketed in recent
years is the increasing incolvement of highly orgainized criminal sundicates, (ICCF, 2013). Chinese
investments for african animal products hace increased which is why there is more poaching. The
way that rangers are fighting this is by awareness. Increasing awaremess would likely reduce
demand for these products. As with other illegal activities, reduced rewards means reduced crime,
(Main, 2013). There is a fight brewing in Africa over paching but rangers and others are on their
way to fixing the problem at hand.
