Topics and Thesis Statement: The Voice of a Student Overseas
Thesis Statement: To understand the importance of the university students involvement for
reform in a more critical and relative way, it is imperative to observe how their passion
manifests in their culture, how policy creates limits their mobility, how students overcome
these limits.
Introduction to the Topic/ Background Information:
All men and women are born with an innate sense of curiosity. Mankind desires to explore the
world in order to understand its functions. Impact occurs when curiosity and passion overlap to
make a difference in somebodys world. Over the past and current century, the image of the
university student has become iconic for the portrayal of reform. Internationally, university
students are known for their passion, patriotism and altruistic behavior.
Prior Knowledge on the Topic: News reports and history books have outlined summaries of
what will be discussed in the research. For example, the current events with the Lybian,
Egyptian and Syrian liberations, Venezuelan student activism, and Occupy have been reported
on national television. History books have given vast information about student activism in
China, USA, Mexico, and South Africa in the 20

century.

Why would college students want to read about the strategies of others?

students face in their countries?
How does the boundary impact the decisions of the college student?
Who is most likely to take this research and use it?
Why should anyone want to learn more about student activism?
Where can the world meet common ground when it comes to student activism?
What are the obstacles that are currently facing students in the USA?
Primary Questions:
How does this information relate to the contemporary college student?
Why is considering culture critical to understand the strategies of the college student?
Why is it important to consider the boundaries that every college student faces?

I plan on making a brief survey of what students know about the boundaries caused by
policy. I fear that not everyone will want to answer the questions
