3. ANTICIPATORY SET
Building Blocks:
How do you find the number of electrons?
-Look at the atomic number
What did you do over break?
-Answers will vary

4. ENGAGE
Pass out the periodic table basics worksheet, and give them notes on how to find the neutrons,
make a Bohr diagram, and a Lewis structure. Have them start on the 18 element worksheet
filling in the atomic number, name, and atomic mass, protons, neutrons, electrons, Bohr
Diagram, and Lewis Structure.

5. ASSESSMENT
Will turn in elements when finished (probably Wednesday).
