(he main purpo"e o# F!SC i" to #eed poor, "tarving hildren, and , &elieve that thi" i" an
ama$ing goal and dream that %e all "hould "trive to aompli"h' ,t i" an organi$ation that i"
running it" ativity &a"ed e-lu"ively on donation" and volunteer %or*'
(he #ood provided i" a "peially de"igned #ormula #or hildren %ho "u##er o# "evere
malnutrition. it i" 100/ vegetarian, and thi" ma*e" it ulturally aepted every%here in the
%orld' ,t ontain" rie ) the grain mo"t %idely aepted in the %orld, "oy ) %hih provide" the
nee""ary protein, dried vegeta&le" and vitamin"'

de"ri&ing the ativity done &y Feed my Starving Children' (he pa*age" that %e %ere "uppo"ed
to ma*e that day %ere de"ignated to &e delivered to the hildren in 0aiti' (he image" %e "a%
%ith the hildren %ere very moving and made me thin* ho% lu*y many o# u" are here, &eing
a&le to provide everything our *id" need, "ee them %ell)nouri"hed and developing in the right
diretion' , reali$ed ho% little %e need to do in order to give "o muh to tho"e in need'
A#ter the initial pre"entation and &rie#, oni"e training, %e %ere "plit in team" and %e
"tarted our %or*' 1e %ere "uppo"ed to #ill pa*age" %ith the orret 2uantitie" o# ingredient",
%eigh them, "eal them and put them in &o-e" that %ere "ta*ed to &e "ent to 0aiti' 3verything
%a" very %ell organi$ed and %e %or*ed hard and #a"t' At the end, a#ter t%o hour", %e leaned
everything and le#t it in order #or the ne-t group that %a" "uppo"ed to ome' , en4oyed every
minute o# thi" %or*, it %a" "uh a great "pirit, everyone gave their &e"t and , %a" really plea"ed
to "ee there %ere al"o 10)12 year" old hildren %ho ame %ith their #amilie"' Our group %a" 15
people, and %e %ere told at the end that %e pa*ed 61 large &o-e", and that %ould &e the #ood
#or 76 hildren #or one entire year' 1e %ere all very "urpri"ed and %e reali$ed that %e atually
did a great thing'

reali$ed that i" %a" "uh a "mall ontri&ution #rom my part, , promi"ed my"el# that , %ill go &a*
%ith my entire #amily and "hare my e-periene %ith everyone , an' Con"idering the #at that ,
am a healthare pro#e""ional, , reali$ed that , need to &e on"tantly involved in ativitie" #ou"ed
on giving &a*, helping other", and in"piring people around me to do the "ame' (hi" %ould not
only help me to gro% a" a per"on, &ut al"o the "pirit o# "haring %ould &e maintained and moved
