My 10 Best Moments

1. Mexican Cultural Class

Undoubtedly my cultural class was the best moment in Centro Espiral Mana, because I
was able to show different aspects of my culture as the traditional outfit, the most
traditional dance which is Jarabe Tapatio and also the flavor of the typical Mexican
food thought the smell and taste of ecnchiladas, tacos and guacamole, my colleges and
students were fascinated with the Mexicos sceneries showed in the video and the
possibility to listen mariachi music at the same time they were dancing. I really chance the
environment in order to feel that all of we were in Mexico, which make me feel extremely
happy to be Mexican and share emotions and knowledge about my country.



2. Playa Hermosa Guanacaste
The journey to the beach in Guanacaste was the most exciting of all the places I have seen
in Costa Rica, my best friends who are the Peruvian girls (Sara, Graciela and Mercedes) in
addition with Walter my Salvadorian best friend and also Ricardo my college in Mexico
and a close friend too decided to rent a van to visit the beach, we swam in the sea, ate in
one of the most beautiful hotels and also visited the gorgeous waterfall were we took lots
of pictures.
Singing in all the journey, tasting the ice cream, swimming in the sea, and made jokes
with my new friends is definitely one of my best moments in Costa Rica.



3. Cleaning the kitchen
One of the most fun task was cleaning the kitchen, I forms a supportive team with
Ricardo, Walter and Fritz, all the time we were together washing the dishes, mopping the
floor, we had fun every day doing something that we are not used to do; one of us have a
roll, Walter and me wash the dishes, Ricardo put the food on the fridge; and Fritz dry
and order the dishes, sometimes Lizandro help us too. I will never forget that moments, I
would never imagine be the only woman cleaning with three man.







4. Dogs in Centro Espiral Mana and Lauras support
The fisrt thing that I saw when I arrived to Centro Espiral Mana were the dogs barking
when Pipa arrived, I was terrified, that was the moment when I met Laura, who has a
real control of them, during all of this time I have learned to live with the dogs and I
have noticed how Laura had done an excellent work, they are not dangerous, and they are
also obey. Nowadays I am not as scared as the very beginning and I have found in Laura
support and security.



5. Roger performing Mexican accent
I admire all my trainers but I have noticed that Roger has an excellent body language and
persona, he is always fun, and I really learn in his classes, one specific fun moment was
the dinner in which he imitated different Spanish accents and especially the Mexican
make me so fun, all of us were amused.

6. The ECRIF framework
The first time that I had the opportunity to participate in a grammar class using ECRIF
I was astonished especially with the Korean class, I used to think that was almost
impossible to introduce a new language without the mother tongue however, the Korean
class provide how it be possible using body language, authentic materials, flash cards a
well set of activities developed with the ECRIF framework.





7. Never have I ever in the Hot Springs
Never have I ever gone to a hot springs, it was awesome, the place was a complete
paradise, the different pools made of stones and he hot and cold water is a great moment
that I would never forget in my life; in addition to have played never have I ever with
Mary, Roger and my colleges which was a funny game were you say stuffs that you have
never done and you find out who of the participants did, it is absolutely interesting, I
will play it again.




8. Oscars Dancing
I would have never tough that Oscar despite of look as serious and shy person would be
an excellent dancer, I was really surprised when he started to dance Sopa de caracol
after his lesson, he moved as well the hips that everybody was fun and excited!
Unforgettable.


9. Authentic Material
As a team, we have develop our classes using realia which has been a great element never
used before for any of us, but Sara was amazing wearing an Inca outfit made of paper
and colored with markers it was really awesome!





10. My friendship with Walter
I thing one of the biggest gifts that I recive of this course was the friendship of many
friends from different countries as the Peruvians, or my Mexican friend; however my
biggest frien who give me support almost always was Walter from El Salvador, who has
a great persona as a teacher and also as human being.
