Edward Teach was also known as Blackbeard.

He was the
most feared pirate of all times.
Blackbeard was born in Bristol, England. His first ship had
forty guns and it was called Queen Margarets e!enge.
Blackbeard sailed in the "aribbean #ea. He decided to
change his appearance to terrify his enemies. He had a
long black beard, he wore black clothes and big boots. He
used pistols and daggers. Blackbeard separated his beard
into pigtails and put colour ribbons on it. He put some hemp
under his hat and lit them.
Blackbeard usually attacked "harleston and $orth "arolina.
He stole medicines and other goods and captured
passengers. The %o!ernor was furious and offered a
reward.
The %o!ernor sent a ship to arrest Blackbeard but
Blackbeard attacked the ship and a battle began.
Blackbeard got hurt & he had twenty'fi!e wounds & and
died.
The %o!ernor cut his head off and hung it on the coast.
