Reflection #1

At the begining before i even went to the panels, i was nervous at the fact of discussing
my information. Worrying about not getting my topic approved i looked for as much
information as i possibly can in order to show them that i know the information. Looking
at the many types of pollution, its causes and its effects was a really tedious process that
took a lot of time and effort in completeing but being that this is for a grade and for
graduating bein lay wasn!t an option. "he day people started going up to get their
pro#ects approved $ worked even harder to complete my research.
"he day that $ went to my interview with the panel $ thought that i was going to get my
stuff approved. "hat hope rapidly disappeared when $ was continually being %uestioned
about the essential %uestion and my research. &y nervousness %uickly returned and my
focus started to crumble and fall all over the place' $ was studdering my words and had to
stop several times and collect my thoughts so that i can e(plain my ideas for the pro#ect.
)eing told to come back with the essential %uestion, topic, and information for the topic
that was provided i left with the feeling of defeat.
*oming back with the information $ thought + this time i will get it approved+. it turns out
that they already gave me the +ok+ to work more on the ma#ority of the pro#ect. "hanks to
the help of ,r. -ord and the other people, that part of my to be presentation was
completed and coukd go back to the heckic schedule of doing essays and looking for
people for recommendations.
Reflection #.
When it was time for the panel, $ was ready to give them my idea for the A*/ part of the
senior pro#ect. $ felt like $ was more prepared to e(press my visions of spreading the word
on air pollution."hanks to the advice of the last meeting of the panel $ was able to single
out the single topic and easily find and constructed my proposal to hand in.
"he day people started going up to get their pro#ects approved $ worked even harder to
complete my research and $ was confident to present my information.
&y day came and as nervous as $ was, $ still presented how $ felt about this idea.
Although they liked the topic and the idea, in their eyes $ didn!t e(plain it the way that
people who don!t know about the topic could get the concept. "hanks to the help of ,r.
-ord and the other people, $ can continue my research for the other components of the
pro#ect.
