The inner self of mine suffocated to its last,

Every bit of hope left in me exhausted to its last
I had promises to keep which I made long back.

The love I was chasing was mere a mirage
The illusion I had was hard to deny,
But I knew I have to survive
I was on denial which tore me apart
Until the last lingering breath I have to survive.

Things around me were never the same,
Reminisce of past is all faint.
All I have was kin to return,
