T&e )ommittee cond#cted p#blic readins o( t&e General )omments on "rticles 12 and 3
respectively and proceeded to adopt its (irst ever eneral comments5 General )omment
no 1 on "rticle 12 *e?#al reconition be(ore t&e law+0 and General )omment no 2 on
"rticle 3 *accessibility+. T&e )ommittee decided to establis& an online database on t&e
implementation o( s#pported decision5makin #nder "rticle 12. @it& respect to t&e
#pcomin General )omment on "rticle ' *women and irls wit& disabilities+0 t&e
)ommittee adopted a dra(t o#tline o( t&e General )omment.
$n addition0 t&e )ommittee adopted its views wit& respect to two individ#al
