Colonialism
• The Colonialism was the most
important topic covered in
Unit 1. This is when the
Spanish took over the
Americas.The Spanish
tortured the Indigenous.They
would cut off their arms and
kill their babies.There was
more Indigenous people then
the Spanish.The Spanish
people would kill some of the
Indians in front of others to
scare them and so that they
wouldn’t dare to fight back.
They never fought back
because they were horrified
that if they fought back the
same thing would happen to
them.
The Amendments!(13th,14th, 15th)
• The most important topic
covered in Unit 2 was the 13th,
14th, and 15th amendment.
They are important because with
out them things would be very
different. The 13th amendment
was the law that freed all
slaves.Without it there still would
be slaves.The 14th amendment
was the law that made all the
slaves citizens. We would all be
imagrent slaves.The 15th
amendment was the law that
allowed all former slaves to
vote.If that one wasn’t made we
wouldn’t be able to vote.
Democracy
• The most important topic
covered in Unit 3 was the
government of Democracy.It
is when others are allowed to
vote and be involved in the
law in forcements
decisions.The Mexicans had
voted for that government.If
they would have never voted
for that one we either would
be ruled by the rich, ruled by
one strong leader, or ruled by
a kin or queen. So now we
can vote and protest over
things we disagree on.
 Most Important
• To me the most important topic overall
was the democracy.Because I think that
if it wasn’t for that we would probably
still be living under George Bush
government. If we didn’t have it then we
couldn’t decide weather or not we have
the laws we do today.
 Leadership
• My definition for leadership is by having
someone to look up to . To Show others
how to succed. Helping someone with
school issues.
