Unit 1
• I think slavery was the
most important topic.I
know that the white
people used to buy the
slaves and made them
work.They tortured the
slaves.They cut off their
arms,burned them,raped
them.They killed their
babies and feed them to
their dogs.Till this day
slavery doesn’t affect us
in a way because
everyone is treated
equally now.
Unit 2
• The most important topic in
unit 2 was slavery.At the
time of slavery people were
treated bad.The slaves
rather kill themselves
instead of suffering.Its
important because we don’t
have slavery anymore.If we
had slavery it will be
horrible.This doesn’t effect
us today because everyone
is free.Everyone has rights.
Unit 3
• The most important topic we
studied is the Mexican
Revolution.I learned that
Benito Juarez was a good
leader.He help set up
railroads,communication
system,and schools in
Mexico.When he died, Porfirio
Diaz took over by using
military.Diaz only help rich
people.He put all of his
opponents in jail.The Mexican
Revolution was a 10 year
fight.
 Most important
• The most important was the
Mexican Revolution.It was the
most important because at least
peoples voices we herd.Now it
doesn’t matter if your poor or rich
you still have the same rights.
