NEW FEATURES BSU Redundancy SU will switch to a specified Secondary BSU in the case of failure of Primary BSU.
Dual Stack (IPv4 and IPv6) support Device can be managed using both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in bridge mode. IPv6 support is added for Radius server, SNTP server, DNS server, DHCP Client, Trap and Syslog sever configuration. Note: 1. QoS PIR support is not available for IPv6. All QoS PIRs that inspect layer 3 (IP) and above will not work for IPv6 packets. 2. Discovering the devices using Scantool is based on IPv4 only.
Configuration Profiles Retrieve configuration profile from master device and load it on other similar devices to replicate the configuration and excludes the unique parameters such as system name, IP address etc.
Multi User enhancement Allows grouping of all WORP links into several groups and configure wireless parameters (such as data rate, data streams, DDRS, ATPC, Tx Antenna etc) for each group independent of the other. Note: On upgrade, existing configuration is preserved.
Auto Tx Antenna selection In single stream mode, selection of Tx antenna is done on a per link basis, based on the RSSI of the last Rx packet.
Dynamic Channel Selection on BSU/End Point-A Monitors the interference/retransmissions on the operating channel and switches to another least interference channel, if bad links exceed the configured threshold. NEW FEATURES COMPATIBILITY MATRIX Tsunami MP Tsunami QB

ENHANCEMENT/CHANGE FROM V2.5.0 Roaming enhancements - Roaming from one BSU to other is based on Rx SNR meeting the configured SNR thresholds. - Improved roaming timings. Notes: - Roaming thresholds are changed from data rates (as in 2.5.x) to SNR for better configurability. - Default values has changed for following parameters o Roaming Announcement Period changed from 100ms to 25 ms o Max Packets per Burst changed from 16 to 4
DFS - Channel wait time range has changed to 60 3600 seconds. - 5 and 10 MHz support is removed for all DFS frequencies. - 132 (5660 GHz) channel in 40+ bandwidth is removed for all SKUs in US 5 GHz frequency domain. - ATPC cannot be disabled for DFS frequencies in US SKU (only for 8200 products).
ACS Change in ACS status on BSU is re-bootable.
Wireless Inactivity timer Default inactivity timer value has changed to 5 seconds.
Secondary IP support in case of PPPoE SU can be managed from wireless side using the secondary IP address even if PPPoE link is down and WORP link is up.
DNS configuration DNS addresses are allowed to configure irrespective of Address type(static or dynamic). Dynamically obtained DNS addresses will be given priority over Static addresses. IPv4 addresses will be given priority over IPv6 addresses.
Deprecated MIBs Few MIBs are deprecated / mapped to new MIB, for supporting IPv6 addresses and Link profiles. Please refer Appendix-A section for List of deprecated/mapped MIBs.
Notes: 1. WORP Link timeout is changed from 30 seconds to 10 seconds. 2. Syslog support is available only through remote server (and cannot be seen with device UI). All relevant messages are already captured in the event log.

FIXED ISSUES Issues/Limitations All units: MP 8xxx management is not accessible using IE-10 browser. Note: In case if there is any issue in accessing the web page click the Broken Page icon available on the right side of the address bar to work properly. All units: Clear of event logs is resulting in not displaying further logs. Same issue is observed for temperature logs also.

KNOWN ISSUES/LIMITATIONS
Issues/Limitations Workaround All units: When running bi-directional traffic, the uplink and downlink throughput varies and are not properly balanced. The throughput imbalance is observed with certain ethernet NICs used in the Host Machine. Best results can be observed when used with Broadcom and Intel NICs. All units: Failed to Login into Web interface using Internet Explorer after entering wrong credentials multiple times followed by correct user name and password. Restart Internet Explorer. MP 81x0 BSU/SUR/SUA & QB 81x0 LNK/EPR/EPA: Improper Reset-Reload functionality when a Legacy device is powered from the second ethernet port Disconnect the second device from the second ethernet port before resetting the first device. MP 8100 BSU & MP 8200 BSU: In legacy mode and 10 MHz bandwidth, the number of available channel is greater than for MP.11. The selected channel should also be available on MP.11 unit. MP 81x0-CPE & QB 8150-LNK-12/50: Unit is not powering up when used with 802.3af compliant PoE Use a PoE which is rated for a maximum power output of 14 watts and above MP 8150 CPE & QB 8150-LNK-12/50: Low throughput is observed in 64 QAM data rate The Max throughput expected can be achieved with 16QAM and hence suggested not to configure 64QAM data rates MP 8100 BSU/SUA & MP 8150 SUR: Less than expected throughput in channels 190 (5900MHz) to 202 (6010MHz) Configure a minimum TPC value of 2 MP 8150 CPE & MP 8160 BSU/SUA/CPE & MP 8200 BSU/SUA & QB 8150-LNK-12/50: In Co-Channel Interference scenario, Performance of Channel with Channel offset is poor compared to Channel without channel offset. Set channel offset to 0 when facing co-channel interference All units: Single SU/EP using multiple services flows with same priority. If total CIR exceed available bandwidth, QoS bandwidth is distributed based on service flow list from top to bottom Do not grant more CIR than available bandwidth. This issue does not affect multiple SU setup. All units: When SNMPv3 is enabled, the first show command will crash CLI session and first set command will fail. Reopen telnet session to CLI and re-issue the command

Issues/Limitations Workaround All units: QoS enabled for one SU leading to Throughput drop for the other SUs (with no QoS Configured). Disable Auto Multiframe Bursting. All units: Multiple Priorities leading to throughput drop when Auto Multiframe Bursting is enabled. Disable Auto Multiframe Bursting. All units: 5054 BSU does not exchange RIP packets with 8150 SU/CPE when Simple authentication is enabled. When Simple authentication is enabled, 5054 BSUs exchange RIP packets with 5012 and 5054 SUs only. Recommended to use Digest authentication. All units: 5054 BSU (Build_444_V5.0.2)QoS: low priority traffic is not getting enough bandwidth as per CIR, in the presence of high priority traffic exceeding the configured MIR NA MP 8150 CPE & QB 8150-LNK-12/50: When TPC is set to 15, it is not applied uniformly to both antenna ports for 64 QAM modulation. This occurs for Automatic and Manual TPC. The Max throughput expected can be achieved with 16QAM and hence suggested not to configure 64QAM data rates 8200-BSU/SU: Throughput is less from Channel 175 (5.875) to 185(5.925)GHz. Apply TPC of 2dB for better throughput. INSTALLATION REMINDER When two units are co-located, especially for parallel link, it is recommended to have: - 3 meters distance between the two antennas. - 5MHz spacing between the two operating frequencies
